SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Canopus, a part of the Grass Valley business within Thomson, today announced MVRD4400, the latest in their line of MPEG encoding/decoding hardware. Designed for OEM's and custom video recording and playback systems, MVRD4400 provides realtime, high-quality MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding and decoding.
