[BEVERLY HILLS, CA] June, 2007 – Michael Eisner’s independent new media studio Vuguru (www.vuguru.com) has garnered two Emmy nominations for the broadband series Prom Queen and Sam Has 7 Friends. Prom Queen, which has emerged as a fan favorite with upwards of 10 million views, and Sam Has 7 Friends, which is considered a pioneer in the realm of scripted online entertainment, were produced in partnership with the production company Big Fantastic.

Set against the final two months of the school year, Prom Queen’s short form 80 episode run culminates on June 20th. Vuguru’s production of Prom Queen is the first of many shows developed and produced by the studio.
