Having seen a short that I made about singer/songwriter Kyler, Don from the New York Final Cut Pro User's Group (NYFCPUG) has asked me to come and talk a little about my experiences using Final Cut Pro, and also screen Golden Arches, one of my FCP edited films. Luckily, this event — entitled Inside the Edit Room — takes place at the Apple Store in SoHo and coincides with the Tribeca Film Festival (which IndependentFilm.com is covering). The event will also feature a talk from Dave Skowronski who, among other things, works as a broadcast television producer and editor.
Michael Vitti, NYCFCPUG President, and Michael Wong from Apple's Professional Applications Group will provide an NAB “wrap-up” to the session.
