Disney's BVI to Distribute Films in Vietnam
Will distribute Disney and Touchstone movies.

BURBANK, Calif., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Buena Vista International (BVI), The Walt Disney Studios' international distribution unit, is entering the Vietnam market and will be distributing its films through MegaStar Joint Venture Company Limited ("MegaStar"). MegaStar is a joint venture between Envoy Media Partners headed by Ted Shugrue and Phuong Nam Corporation. The announcement was made by Mark Zoradi, President of BVI and Ted Shugrue, general partner of Envoy Media Partners and MegaStar.
MegaStar has offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and will be run in Vietnam by Lim Eng Hee and overseen by Tony Manne based out of The United States. MegaStar is also the first company to build an eight screen multiplex in Vietnam scheduled to open in late April 2006.
MegaStar will distribute a powerful line-up of Disney and Touchstone movies including "Eight Below", "Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", this summer's must-see animated adventure "Cars" from Disney/Pixar and the eagerly anticipated summer action blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean 2 -- Dead Man's Chest."
