Rosie Perez speaks with us at the Miami International Film Festival (March 2006). Her new documentary "Yo Soy Boricua, Pa' Que Tu Lo Sepas" is about the political history between the United States and Puerto Rico. The story is told through personal tales and historical artifacts to show how politics can change a people. Look for it on the IFC Channel June 12 at 9pm ET/10pm PT. Rosie, I really appreciate this documentary. I'm a NY Rican born and raised. so I can really relate. with some of the struggles. We had here and now on the Island Thank you for the Jewels from our past. Que viva Puerto Rico!
