Scott tells independentfilm.com that the city is much more conquerable than one would think. Yes, lines are long for hot parties and screenings, but it seems like there's always some event going on that someone knows about and can probably get you into. "I've never seen so many people with decent cameras on the street at once, getting footage to broadcast to some small network somewhere. It truly does have that indie feel, with everyone working on something at some stage of production, there's no shortage of things to talk about with people. And since everyone is mostly in the same boat people are open and willing to chat." Park City is gorgeous as well. The snow fell in droves, like NYC, but it fell a week ago, so the roads are clear and the sun is out. Yesterday he wore a Tee and a little sweater and was comfortable. And there is free internet, although the hook with the place he saw, Overstreet.com, was that you had to review a movie that you had seen. He had just arrived in town and had already been harrassed by a man advertising free lift tickets if you looked at his time shares, so he wasn't in the mood for another 'free' service. Perhaps he can see if they will take media cards tomorrow so he can send up to the moment photos!
