The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Sundance Music Cafe has been scheduled.
The line-up will showcase many performers who are also actors, including Schuyler Fisk ("Orange County"), and music led by Patrick Fugit ("Almost Famous").
The event is produced by ASCAP, the performing rights organization, with the goal of encouraging filmmaker collaberation between filmmakers, and music makers.
Performers will include:
Rufas Wainwright, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Penn, Darren Hayes, Mike Doughty, 2 Foot Yard, Athlete, Augustana, Bird York, Brazillian Girls, Judy Collins, Rodney Crowell, Inara George, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Imogen Heap, Kristin Hoffman, Chris Janson, Lyfe, Margot & the Nuclear So & So's, Persephone's Bees, Robert Post, Roberto Poveda, Martin Sexton, Darrell Scott and the Weepies.
The Sundance Film Festival is also featuring several documentaries with a music based theme as well. These include a documentary about Neil Young, a documentary about a live Beastie Boys concert, and a documentary by Stewart Copeland of and about the Police.
